About Us

We are Krystle, Matt & Vicky, the owners of Fahrenheit and here is our story…

Wind the clock back to 2010 and the building that has an extensive history of being a dining establishment in Te Awamutu is vacant and there is a real opportunity in the market for a new dining establishment.

Matt and Vicky live on the sunny sunshine coast of Australia. Matt is working as both dad and hospitality manager for the award winning Noosa Springs resort, Vicky is working as both mum and a part-time legal executive

The hospo industry has long been a part of their lives. After completing a Bachelor of Business and Hospitality degree, Matt travelled the globe, finally settling in London and managing a number of restaurants and wine bars during his ten year stay.

It was while managing Suze in Mayfair, a popular wine bar in Mayfair London, that Matt met Vicky, when she started waitressing at the establishment. After embracing the London scene for many years together they eventually returned to Matt’s roots in Noosa, Australia.

Krystle is living in Te Awamutu, working for a local accounting firm in the areas of marketing, human resources and business development. Krystle is keen to develop her interest in business and becoming a business owner is the perfect way to do it!

On a visit to New Zealand Matt and Vicky agreed to join forces with Krystle (Vicky and Krystle are sisters) on the belief that with our combined hospitality and business experience, and with Head Chef James Mitchell on board, we had the right ingredients to create a quality dining establishment that Te Awamutu can be proud of!
